Defensive Pistol Competition
Yes sir, it is time to sling some lead downrange and get those rusty kinks out of your shooting form.
Shoots will be generally held monthly on the SECOND Sunday of the month at 2:00 PM. However, ALWAYS check this website to see if shoots have been canceled or rescheduled: http://www.randywallacecpa.com/idpa.
You don’t have to be a member of the Tennessee Sports Foundation to shoot with us. Cost to shoot is $10 if you are a member of the TSF, and $15 if you are not. 1st time shooters shoot for free.
Randy Wallace serves as Match Director and Safety Officer.
If you have questions, contact Randy Wallace at [email protected].

Defensive Pistol Competitions are held at the Tennessee Sports Foundation range.
These shoots are organized in order to provide those persons interested in carrying a firearm for self-defense with a platform to practice the skills that are necessary in the average defensive encounter. Gear will be limited to that which is common to daily carry. For an individual to participate in his/her first match, bring:
– Eye and ear protection
– Revolver or Pistol (9mm/.38 Special or larger)
– Adequate ammunition for your handgun (usually around 100 rounds)
– Extra magazine or speed-loader
– Holster
– Open mind
Some IDPA rules are used for Defensive Pistol Competitions. If you are interested in learning more about the IDPA, or to visit the IDPA site rules page, click here.
Come on out and join us! Shoot with us, or just watch the fun. Spectators are always welcome. But if you come just to watch, make sure you bring eye and ear protection.
