Defensive Pistol Competition
Practice. Compete. Improve.
It is time to get those kinks out of your shooting form! Defensive pistol competitions are held at the Tennessee Sports Foundation range to provide shooters with a platform to practice the skills necessary for real-world defensive encounters.
Matches are open to everyone; you do not have to be a TSF member to compete. First-time shooters compete for free!
Shoots are generally held on the second Sunday of each month at 2:00 PM.

Match Gear & Requirements
We focus on daily carry gear. If you are participating in your first match, please bring:
- Revolver or pistol (9mm / .38 Special or larger)
- Holster and a sturdy belt
- At least one extra magazine or speed-loader
- Adequate ammunition (usually around 100 rounds)
- Eye and ear protection (mandatory for shooters and spectators)
- An open mind
Competition Rules
