Metallic Silhouette is a premier test of offhand marksmanship. Shooters aim to knock down steel animals at various distances. Matches are open to the public; range membership is not required.

* Held at Tennessee Sports Foundation, Jackson, Tennessee. Space is limited for these events. Priority will be given to competitors who participate in a Silhouette Society-affiliated match prior to the event.

High Power & Logistics

1st Sunday: High Power Silhouette Development at the 500m Range (1:00 PM).

Matches: 10:00 AM - 3 PM.

Setup and Sight in: 9 AM.

Fees: Monthly matches are $10.00. Shoot all classes for one flat fee.

Monthly Matches are the following:
TSF Unique Silhouette Range configurations allow for all of these Matches in the monthly format:

  1. Small Bore Rifle and Smallbore Hunter Rifle
  2. Smallbore Lever Rifle
  3. P.C. Lever (pistol cartridge lever Rifle)
  4. Air Rifle (all three classes)
  5. Smallbore Iron Sights
  6. Open sight Sporter

"Tennessee Sports Foundation is supporting growth in the Rifle Silhouette program. Monthly match’s are scheduled for the first Saturday of each month. Categories shot include:
  • Small Bore rifle at 1/5 scale targets.
  • SB Lever rifle.
  • Pistol Cartridge Lever rifle.
  • Both Lever Shooting 1/2 scale targets.
  • Outside Air Rifle consisting of 3 separate categories.
  • Lastly High Power Centerfire Rifle Silhouette. Minimum 6mm/.243 caliber Maximum range 500 Meters.
All matches consist of appropriate sized targets chicken, pigs, turkeys and rams. HP match dates to be determined and posted. This is a separate match from the first Saturday.
