About TSF:
With 200+ member-families, the Tennessee Sports Foundation strives to bring you the most enjoyable shooting experience possible. We offer the community unsurpassed service, safety and education. Through education and safety, we strengthen the sport of shooting, and enhance your experience.
Tennessee Sports Foundation is a private membership club, with only shooting matches and competitions open to the general, non-member public. Check the Calendar page for upcoming shoots.
Members can use the range 7 days a week during daylight hours. We have no lighting, so when it gets dark, it gets dark! Plus, the neighboring residences wouldn't appreciate the nighttime noise. So, we offer outdoor daylight shooting only. Regular membership is a one-year cycle, from August 1 through July 31 each year. If a person joins during mid-cycle, the membership will expire at the end of the cycle, July 31, regardless of when the member joined.
Renewal letters are generally emailed out before the membership cycle ends, giving the member opportunity to renew with uninterrupted membership. After the membership renewal time expires, the range access is changed, and only those with current membership will enjoy access to the range facilities. Those who let their membership lapse, may find delay in accessing the range while their application is processed, so we encourage members to keep their memberships current.
Our memberships are all family memberships, which include the individual, spouse, and immediate minor children living at home. One adult joining covers the immediate family as well. Adult children should join as individuals themselves.
The TSF offers the frequent shooter an Lifetime Membership for the low cost of $2,000.00 , or a One-Year Membership for $150. A year membership made sometime during the August 1 to July 31 will take the membership to July 31 of that session. Although there is no pro-rating, even with a partial year, the TSF membership is still the best deal around. Payments accepted at this time are check or cash only. Becoming a member is simple: you must be a US citizen, at least 21 years old, and never convicted of a felony, misdemeanor domestic violence, or any other crime that would prohibit you from possessing a firearm. Membership to the NRA is NOT required. Although Tennessee Sports Foundation is a strong supporter of the National Rifle Association, membership in the NRA is no longer required for membership to the Tennessee Sports Foundation. We still encourage our people to join and support the NRA, but it is not mandatory in order to belong to the Tennessee Sports Foundation.

Club Regulations
The following rules must be adhered to by members of TSF and their guests. There is a sign with the safety rules on it on each range. Please remind yourself of these safety rules by reading them. Always have your guests read them. We do not want to lose you or one of your guest because of a preventable accident.
- Anyone under the age of 18 must be under the direct supervision of an adult!
- Always point the muzzle of your gun in a safe direction.
- Keep the action open, magazine out, and gun unloaded until ready to fire.
- Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.
- Do not handle a firearm while anyone is forward of the firing line.
- Obey all firing line commands. Do not move forward of the firing line until the command “cease fire” is given.
- No alcohol is permitted on the range, either in a bottle or in you! Alcohol and shooting do not mix. Remember, you are legally responsible for every bullet exiting from your firearm!
- Everyone must wear eye and ear protection.
- This range includes firing lines for distances of 15, 50, 100 yards, and Clay Range. Firearms are to be used only on designated ranges and at designated targets with safe ammo. Tracers and incendiary rounds are prohibited due to fire hazards without written approval from the executive committee. No shooting of glass objects or wildlife. Shotguns can only be used on the target marked SHOTGUN; otherwise, shotguns are to be used on the Clay Range.
- NO shooting of steel-core bullets at any steel targets on the range. This includes, but is not limited to, "green tip" penetrator ammunition, M855 ammo, PMC X-TAC, or any ammunition that has a steel core or partial core in the bullet. If in doubt, check the bullet tip with a magnet. If it sticks, it has steel.
- Targets are to be positioned so bullets will directly impact the backstop/berm. No ground level targets cross firing, or ricochets. Position targets in the middle of the frame so that bullets will not strike target frames. Never place more than one target on a target frame. If you wish to shoot at several targets simultaneously, set-up several target frames side by side.
- No automatic weapons or tracers on the range without permission from the executive committee.
- The executive committee must approve scheduling of all matches and installation of any fixtures.
- Pick up your spent brass. Even though it is a headache, which includes 22 brass. Put it in one of the brass buckets.
- To keep the 50-gallon barrels from filling up, take your targets, bottles, and cans home with you. Do not burn trash in any of the barrels.
- You are responsible for the gate combination. Do not give it to anyone, especially non-members. If they were involved in a shooting accident, you would be liable.
- Members must have their membership card in their possession. Members may not lend their membership cards to anyone.
- When entering the range, close the gate behind you, but do not lock. Place lock in designated hole, painted yellow, and lock in place. That keeps anyone from running off with the lock. Closing the gate keeps the curious from wandering into the range. If there is an accident, medical help cannot get to you without cutting the lock off and that takes time.
- Please sign in and out of the book in the mailbox before parking.
- Park all vehicles on the gravel parking areas, do not drive a vehicle onto the range unless it is a workday and there is a need to do so.
- You may have as many as three guests with you. You may bring the same guest up to three times annually. They should be encouraged to join after that to help you and the rest of the membership shoulder the responsibility of improvements. Remember, you are responsible for the shooting conduct of your guests. Firearm safety is paramount. Members of your immediate family are always welcome.
- If someone comes in behind you, and you are leaving before they do, make sure they know you are leaving and ask them (1) if they are a member and (2) remind them to lock up. If they are not a member, ask them to leave immediately.
- If any member observes any unsafe situation on any TSF property, he/she is responsible for reporting the situation to the Executive Committee or Board of Directors immediately. If it is an individual committing an unsafe act, the unsafe act should be pointed out, in a respectful way, and then reported. If reporting of names is not possible or the person is not a member please make every effort to report vehicle tag numbers, type of vehicle or other distinguishing characteristics necessary for identification.
- Violation of any of the range safety rules or range regulations may result in suspension or termination of membership.
